About

A Woman’s Place Project CIC

Mission Statement

Our Vision: To champion equality through creativity

Our Mission: A Woman’s Place Project CIC commissions and supports work by and for women. Our goals are to:

·      Amplify women’s voices.
·      Focus on women’s stories; histories and contemporary experience.
·      Deepen our understanding of one another.
·      Action equality.
·      Be a catalyst and an advocate for constructive social change.
·      Inspire, energise, support and nurture our artists and our audiences.

We commission self-contained projects and act as an umbrella organisation for partnership projects, regularly working outside the conventional exhibiting space to create impactful art with heritage organisations and specific communities. This – increasingly – includes site-specific work and projects with a low environmental impact.

A Woman’s Place Project CIC (also known as A Woman’s Place Projects) is a trans embracing, intersectional organisation and we welcome people of all genders to work with us and participate in our events.

We, and the projects that we undertake, are not aligned to, affiliated with or representing the campaign group womansplaceuk.
